Junior Account Manager, fragrance & homewares

An award-winning consumer products business is looking for a driven and motivated Junior Account Manager to join their team to manage their key retail accounts. This is newly created position due to continued company growth and success.

We are looking for someone with Junior Account Management experience and a background in consumer products such as home accessories, fragrance, beauty or similar. Creating market leading products and providing exceptional service is so key for this business, so you will be a natural relationship builder and highly organised, with great project management skills too. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great company where there is always lots of opportunity for progression.

Key responsibilities for this Junior Account Manager include:

  • Overseeing strategic accounts, building strong, positive working relationships
  • Getting to know your accounts in depth in order to fully understand their market and business needs, feeding this back into the design and NPD process
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the product lines including features, benefits, and competitive advantages
  • Ensuring any specific labelling / packaging requirements are communicated in a timely manner to the wider business to aid swift and accurately delivery
  • Collaborating with the Buying, Design, Logistics, Quality Control, Warehousing and Finance teams to ensure orders are delivered swiftly and to brief
  • Managing the critical path to ensure key dates are met for your accounts
  • Provide high-quality customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction

Skills & experience required:

  • Experience in a Junior Account Management or similar position working with consumer products
  • A background working on private label / made to order product ranges a benefit
  • Experience with fragrance, accessories, or homewares a benefit
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal English, and a natural ability to form good working relationships at all levels of seniority, both with internal teams and external partners
  • A customer-centric approach and desire to provide outstanding customer experience is a must
  • Fantastic attention to detail with good MS office skills
  • Proactive, friendly, and a great team player
