Finance Business Partner
A growing UK-based organization is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available, qualified accountant looking for a dynamic interim role.
Salary/Benefits:
- £55,000 - £65, 000 per annum (pro-rated)
Job Duties:
- Act as a proactive Finance Business Partner, providing support, challenge, and insights to Operations Managers.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant financial information
- Provide commercial support to Operations, focusing on understanding and explaining business performance variances and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Challenge and question budget/forecast assumptions
- Produce Monthly Reporting pack and participate in Monthly Review Meetings.
- Oversee the production of monthly Management Accounts
- Evaluate business cases, including capital expenditure proposals.
- Ensure strong financial controls
- Adhere to company policies and statutory requirements.
Who will I report to? Financial Controller
When will interviews be taking place? Interviews will be happening as soon as possible.
Ideal Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Experience in an operationally focused role
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
- Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
- Organized approach with the ability to manage a variety of outputs and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with external advisers.
- Preferred: Experience in Logistics or Distribution industries
- Full clean driving license required.
