My client, a leading supplier of products to the hospitality industry, is looking for a confident and experienced Internal Sales professional to join their busy sales team! They are currently hiring on a full-time, permanent basis and are located in Preston Brook, Runcorn.
Benefits:
- Salary - £26,000 per annum basic, with an OTE of £28,600 (10% annual bonus)
- Working Hours – Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4pm with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break

Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sales expertise to ensure sales targets and volumes are met, working with new and existing customers. They will work closely with external Account Managers and the Customer Service team to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engaging in generating new business opportunities through lead generation activities in combination with digital marketing campaigns and self-sourcing.
- Managing and developing warm sales leads, over the phone and by email
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers to deliver the highest possible service levels.
- Working with CRM systems, data mining, data cleansing, desktop research and analytics
- Fully manage the requirements and relationships with selected key accounts as co-owner where applicable.
- Liaise and expedite with partners within other functions in order to provide accurate and timely information relating to customer requirements and queries.
Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar Customer Service/Sales Support role is essential
- Previous experience within a similar hospitality supply role would be preferred, but not essential
- An organised and productive individual, who can work alone without prolonged periods of supervision
- A team player who works well with others, as well as individually
- A clear and succinct communicator, both written and verbal
