Our client, a prominent business in their sector, is on the hunt for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their revenue reporting team. What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our client's revenue reporting team. Your primary focus will be on reporting assets under management. You will be responsible for extracting revenue data from source systems, reconciling revenue postings with cash received, and contributing to regulatory returns. You will also ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and within set deadlines. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems quickly, and maintain high levels of accuracy will be crucial in this role.
- Collate, review, report, and resolve any issues with the reporting of Assets under Management.
- Extract revenue data from source systems for review and posting.
- Reconcile revenue postings to cash received and follow up on anomalies in a timely manner.
- Update reconciliations for control frameworks and files provided to auditors.
- Contribute to the collation of Revenue and data for regulatory returns.
- Build knowledge of the operational systems used to collect/record fees and follow up on issues.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard within deadlines.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Review team tasks and identify improvements for efficient processes.
- Participate in ad-hoc project-related work when necessary.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Analyst position brings a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) along with experience working in a management accounts team.
You have a solid understanding of systems and operational processes, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You demonstrate an ability to understand and summarise complex information professionally. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your attention to detail and ability to organise workloads effectively.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
