About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to lead the opening of our brand-new furniture store in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing a new retail location, driving exceptional customer experiences, and leading a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring a smooth and successful launch
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team dedicated to excellence
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability
- Ensure an outstanding customer experience by maintaining high standards of service and presentation
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and store layout to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry
