A global Energy client require a PMO specialist initially on a 6 month contract to work closely with the Head of PMO to establish a robust PMO. The role will help in designing and implementing this strategic function. The PMO Specialist will focus on establishing and maintaining effective project management processes, governance frameworks, and control mechanisms to ensure the successful delivery of portfolio projects.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
- MUST have experience setting up PMO
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in portfolio management is desirable.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Planview, MSP).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder managment skills.
