Nigel Wright is pleased to be working with a dynamic, growing manufacturing business in the North East, supporting in their search for a Maintenance Engineer.
Working continental shifts - salary up to circa £54,000
The Role
- Provide engineering solutions and assist in an operational capacity when required across the production lines
- Effectively communicate any inefficiencies to the wider engineering team and support practical solutions
- Preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment across site
- Assist with instillation and support contractors when required
The Person
- Utilise qualifications to add real value to the maintenance and engineering team
- Ideally, you will have completed a multi skilled apprenticeship (4 year)
- Previous experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally having worked with highly automated machinery previously
- Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to increase sophisticated production methods across site
- Strong communication skills, highlighting any inefficiencies to senior management
