Digital Marketing Apprentice

The Door Company UK is an internal door fitting business that uses the latest cutting edge technology for their customers based in Manchester, covering the North West.

Overview:
They are looking for a keen Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their expanding team in the city centre.

The apprentice will support with creation and implementation of SEO strategy for The Door Company and Maddox Noel, using tools such as SEMRUSH and Google (trends, keyword planner)

Salary: £16,000 per annum.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support with creation, management and delivery of content calendar for The Door Company UK, Maddox Noel and also Fogerty Group (when required) across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest & LinkedIn. This includes final edits, scheduling of posts, copywriting and quality control
  • Support with creation of content for social media, utilising Adobe Suite, Capcut and other software as required
  • Act as a community manager by monitoring and responding to customer comments, reviews and enquiries on social media (as and when required)
  • Utilise in house CRM system to effectively manage leads and customer information
  • Stay up to date and report on Social Media trends, particularly across TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest to allows us to create effective campaigns with high engagement
  • Propose new ideas for content based on trends and research, always with a view to boosting
  • Support with Paid Advertising strategy across all companies
  • Support with creating and implementing Paid Advertising Campaigns on Google & Meta, along with upcoming plans for Pinterest and TikTok

What they are looking for:
Key / essential skills:

  • Communication: Ability to listen, interpret and convey ideas well
  • Research: Basic understanding of research concepts in the marketing space, with a desire to learn more
  • Attention to detail: Keen eye for spotting any errors in content that is being published
  • Problem solving: Encountering problems is unavoidable, it's how we overcome them that is the important part
  • Creative flair: Ability to apply basic creative concepts in our brand styles to achieve desired outcomes
  • Analytics: Ability to pull, interpret and present business/customer data and insights
  • Social media: Understanding of current trends and desire to keep up to speed with this ever-changing landscape

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday - 37.75hrs per week.
