Job Title: Finance Officer

Working Pattern: Full Time- 36 hours per week (office based)
Hourly rate From: £14.30
Responsibilities:
As a Finance Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial management, technical, and business planning advice, training, and support to various stakeholders
- Assisting managers in client service areas to fulfil their financial management responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial, performance, and business data
- Participating in budget coordination and monitoring activities
- Supporting service transformation, improvement, and efficiency projects
- Contributing to the evaluation of funding stream opportunities and innovative marketing initiatives
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C or 9-4) including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent
- Previous experience in a financial environment, preferably within an Accountancy/Finance Office
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a multi-priority workload
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience in budget preparation, closure of accounts, or financial management
- Familiarity with Financial Ledger packages
Technologies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Financial Ledger packages.
