The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who has worked cross-department in Beauty/Skincare/FMCG to leverage their skills as an Innovation Engineer.

As an Innovation Engineer, you will play a key role in the full lifecycle of bringing new products to market. You'll collaborate with various teams to facilitate the quick production and scale-up of these products. In addition, you will work with suppliers and internal commercial teams to ensure that processes are optimised, delivering maximum value to our customers. This role would be ideal for someone with an engineering background who is keen to expand their skills across a wide range of business functions.

Who we're looking for:

+ A degree in engineering or product design.

+ A highly capable professional in both engineering and product design.

+ Capable of understanding and streamlining complex processes, especially within a manufacturing environment.

+ Commercially aware, with a proven track record of driving business improvements and efficiencies.

+ Entrepreneurial in nature, taking ownership of driving continuous innovation and achieving top performance.

+ Passionate about learning and excited by the opportunity to explore new technologies, products, and processes.

+ Self-driven, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.

+ Experienced in collaborating with external suppliers and working effectively across different teams within a business.

+ A creative thinker and problem solver, able to quickly diagnose the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions.

+ Familiar with start-ups or fast-paced, high-growth environments.

+ Comfortable working in production settings, such as factories.

+ Proficient in CAD, with knowledge of Illustrator being an added advantage.

+ Experience in designing and building technical machinery is a plus.

+ Familiarity with packaging engineering would be beneficial.

Your Salary & Working Setup:

+ Salary: £38,000 - £45,000.

+ Holiday Package: 25 days of annual leave, plus all bank holidays.

+ Flexible Working Hours: Core hours are 10-4. If you're an early bird you can do 7-4, and if you're a night owl 10-7 is fine too. This site is cross-site 5 days a week.
