An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, expanding law firm in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Our client specialises in a range of civil litigation matters and are currently expanding their growing Fraud & Scam department.
We are seeking an ambitious qualified solicitor or CILEX, ideally with at least 1 years PQE. Experience of housing disrepair / fraud & scam is preferred but not essential
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Giving legal advice to clients
- Drafting and checking legal documents
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and, sometimes, court proceedings
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Undertaking client management
- Ensuring compliance with legal documentation
- Developing a close working relationship with other claimant firms, defendant solicitors and Kings Counsel to advance claims through the Court system.
- Gathering the necessary evidence and data required to bring valid claims in large volumes.
- Taking client instructions and advising on legal and procedural issues in an effort to progress files and the litigation as a whole.
