Payroll Administrator

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Huddersfield who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time and permanent position offering flexible working from home. You will be a part of a team of 4 to process circa 2000 employees with weekly and monthly pay.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support end to end payroll and benefits process for circa 2000 colleagues for circa 12 payrolls (weekly and monthly pay) and pension schemes
  • Ensure prompt processing of payroll related conditions such as overpayments, salaries, pay awards, variations, expenses, and allowances
  • Ensure all people data is accurately maintained
  • Investigate and resolves any payroll related queries
  • Ensure payroll accuracy meets colleagues' expectations and company standards
  • Assist in the development of procedures and systems for accurate payroll processing

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of payroll systems
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Respectful of confidentiality and discretion to manage sensitive information
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving and ability to manage time effectively
