This company are a modern methods of construction housing company who have established a great reputation over the last few years. They consistently create high quality builds, which has led to fast growth of the business. Due to this expansion, and strong order book, they are looking for a Trainee Design Technician to join their business to learn the industry and role to support on all design and engineering requirements.
In this role you will be based in Winchester, designing and coordinating projects predominantly within Modular construction. You will be both office and factory based, liaising with the production and design team to ensure a smooth design, engineering and production process. You will be working on unique and technically varied projects, developing production products. In this role you will be working alongside the design engineers, coordinating and resolving any design or technical matters. You will manage multiple projects at a time, overseeing and contributing to the design process to ensure every aspect of the project runs smoothly with no clashes.
This role would therefore ideally suit an ambitious individual interested in pursuing a career in design engineering within the construction space who has a degree in an Engineering or Design related degree. You will need to be a team player and have strong communication as well as have strong attention to detail. A construction or engineering background is not required for this role but you will need to be commutable to Winchester.
