I amcurrently working with a leading global speciality insurance group who are looking for an AssistantSyndicate Accountant to join their team. Based in Central London, reporting tothe FC, this role will play a key part in helping the finance team on apermanent basis.
Your new role
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Create journal entries into the general ledger
- Assist with preparation of outputs for Syndicate reporting to Lloyds, including QMA, US regulatory reporting & Lloyds tax returns
- Assist with preparation of outputs for Solvency II reporting to various regulators
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working as an Assistant Syndicate Accountant
- Knowledge of Xchanging bureau systems
- Be a proactive self-starter
- Strong communication skills - able to interact with members of the finance and actuarial departments
- Knowledge and understanding of Lloyds financial regulatory returns, Core Market, MDC and Overseas return systems.
