£40,000 - £60,000

This role is for a qualified paraplanner who is looking to move into advice, or someone just starting their advice journey. The firm is looking for a driven individual to join the business and get stuck in. The role will start in a paraplanning support function to get used to the business, their HNW clients, etc, and then the journey into advice after that can be as long or as short as you want it to be. The firm's average client is worth £2M and they are currently turning away referrals as they simply don't have the team in place. If you are a confident, driven person looking to become an advisor in an independent, chartered, HNW firm, then this is for you.

The Business

This is a well-established chartered financial planning firm known for delivering genuinely holistic advice. They look after a range of HNW clients, with the average client being around the £2M mark, with some clients going up to the tens of millions. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused, and they're keen to bring in someone who is aligned with their mission and values. You'll be joining a business that supports your development and encourages you to contribute ideas that help drive the business forward. You'll be surrounded by a small team of experienced people who are a good fun and client focussed.

The Role

The firm is looking for a paraplanner to join them, help grow the business and get involved in all areas. The role will start out in a support function to help the firm with report writing, cashflow modelling, tax calculations, etc. This is to get the candidate used to the way they operate and the kind of clients they deal with. The journey into advice can then be as long as you want it to be. If that's a couple of years, that's fine, if that is 6 months to a year, even better. The firm has clients knocking on their door that they are currently turning away, so with the support of the director, you will be supported to start taking on clients and going down the advice route. The firm is looking to grow by working with talented and driven individuals, and this is the start of that growth path.
