Position: Senior Category Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets as the Senior Category Manager.
- Product Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring a competitive and comprehensive product portfolio.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure product availability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of category managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional activities and sales strategies that drive category growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in buying or category management, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using category management software and tools.
