Job Role: Toolmaker
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 39 hours per week
Salary: Salary between £25,288 - £33,279 per annum
Metalis are working in partnership with a busy Engineering & Manufacturing business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Toolmaker on a permanent basis.
Job Duties:
- Manufacture new tooling when required to issued drawings
- Repair and service of (high speed) multistage progression tools for production
- Preventative maintenance on tooling
- All aspects of machining and bench fitting, i.e. grinding, turning milling etc
- Using measuring Equipment
- Working from Engineering drawings
- Testing tooling prior to release
- To assess the life of a press tool and to order any new parts or make new parts that need replacing
Salary & Shifts:
- Monday to Thursday - 39 hours
- Salary between £25,288 - £33,279 per annum
- Overtime available
