Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef / Chef de Partie
A newly renovated Grade II Listed Pub set to open in September / October 2024 is looking to appoint key roles now in order to invest time in training and preparation for this exciting new opening in the village.
This venue will provide another opportunity for dining and entertaining for locals and visitors.
SALARY: up to £33,000 pro rata (depending on experience) plus share of discretionary service charge
LOCATION: Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire (HP18)
WORKING HOURS: Varying hours up to a cap of 48 hours per week, on a four-day rota
Please note: Sous Chef role is on a permanent basis, all other roles are on an hourly contract basis
JOB OVERVIEW
We have fantastic new job opportunities for a Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie who has experience working within a busy kitchen with a passion for food and cooking, coupled with professional experience in similar roles.
Working as either a Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie you will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As the Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie you will join an organisation that has a reputation for maintaining high standards of food service.
As a successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in the success of the kitchen and will support the team in preparing meals for a wide range of special events, including weddings and for daily visitors to the restaurant.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as either a Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie
- Up to date with culinary trends and best practices
- Depending on the role taken, support junior kitchen staff and assist the Head Chef
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed to providing the highest standards of food service
