Role: Sub Agent

Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Day rate: £450 - £550 PAYE

Project: Large Scale Civils scheme

Randstad is currently looking for an experienced Sub Agent to work on a state of the art, civil engineering project in Bridgwater.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of project plans.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, including labour, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and any incidents, and report regularly to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
  • CSCS card and SMSTS certification are highly desirable.
