Our client are seeking a Financial Accountant to support the organisation in maintaining and developing the financial accounting function. The role is a 9 month FTC and based near Southampton.

Description
Financial Accounting & Audit
- Production of financial statements for Group Legal entities in compliance with accounting standards including IFRS, FRS 102 and Lux GAAP
- Primary contact for audit fieldwork
- Support Audit and board sign off of financial statements
- Provide audit papers and memos as required
Technical Accounting
- Support technical accounting - including providing accounting memos and judgement papers
- Support Group transactions including acquisitions and reorganisations
- Review, document and continually improve policies and procedures
Board Reporting
- Production and submission of Board packs (P&L, BS and ANLA), working alongside the financial performance team for supplementary information
- Maintain robust and accurate regulatory reporting for regulated entities in multiple jurisdictions
Tax Compliance
- Maintain tax compliance and reporting for all jurisdictions
- Support the group transfer pricing policy
Profile
- ACA/ACCA (or similar) Qualified or QBE
- Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context
- GCSE's in English Language and Mathematics
