CCTV Civil Enforcement Officer

Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a competent CCTV civil enforcement officer to join our team in Thurrock.

As an CCTV civil enforcement officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing traffic and parking regulations through the use of CCTV cameras. This role ensures compliance with local and national traffic laws, contributes to road safety, and supports the efficient management of public spaces. The officer will play a critical role in reducing traffic congestion and improving road safety by issuing penalties for violations observed through CCTV footage.

The rate of pay for this role is £14+ P/H.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CCTV cameras to monitor traffic flow, parking areas, and other designated public spaces.
  • Identify and record instances of traffic violations, including illegal parking, bus lane infractions, and other breaches of traffic regulations.
  • Capture clear and precise evidence to support enforcement actions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal standards.
  • Issue PCNs to offenders in accordance with established protocols and within the legal framework.
  • Maintain accurate records of all observed violations, issued PCNs, and relevant correspondence.
  • Stay up to date with current traffic enforcement regulations, CCTV operation guidelines, and data protection laws.

Requirements:

  • Experience in traffic or parking enforcement, CCTV operations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant traffic laws, parking regulations, and enforcement procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and related software
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and report violations.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within defined guidelines.
