Media Lecturer

A reputable educational institution in Wolverhampton is seeking a Media Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role. The position involves 23 hours of contact teaching per week, offering an engaging learning experience to students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Media studies, preparing students for success in their exams and future careers.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and teaching strategies.
- Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback to promote learning and improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development and improvement.
- Engage with students to support their academic and personal development.
- Utilise a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure an inclusive classroom environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Media qualification or equivalent is essential.
- A teaching qualification is required, or candidates should be willing to work towards obtaining one.
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one.
