SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (EA)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant (EA) to join a prestigious university on a 6-month assignment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an important project aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the university's Executive Assistants in their support of directors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing the university's internal processes and establishing new protocols. You will bring insights and systems from corporate environments to strengthen the EA function and ensure that EAs are fully equipped to provide high-level support to university leadership. We are looking for a charismatic leader, who is confident and enjoys process development.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (EA) ROLE:

  • Leading a project reviewing current internal processes and protocols related to EA support
  • Establishing and implementing new systems and procedures to improve the effectiveness of the EA team
  • Working closely with university directors and other senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with the university's needs
  • Introducing best practices from corporate environments to enhance administrative and operational support
  • Providing high-level EA support as needed, ensuring efficiency and professionalism in all tasks
  • Acting as a consultant and trainer to the current EA team, providing guidance and assistance where required

SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (EA) ESSENTIALS:

  • At least 10 years of Executive Assistant experience, with a proven track record in supporting senior executives
  • Experience in the Higher Education sector is highly desirable
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading or being involved in process improvement projects
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce new systems and protocols to improve administrative efficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines
