Description
- Facilitating risk identification, assessment and mitigation strategies
- Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with the firm's annual audit plan. This can include regulatory, compliance and operational internal audits
- Delivering assurance activities to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to foster a culture of risk awareness
- Creating and updating risk management policies and procedures
- Reporting on risk trends and assurance findings to management
- Participating in the development of risk management training materials
- Assisting in the planning and execution of risk management projects
- Supporting the legal department in other risk and assurance related tasks as required
Profile
A successful 'Enterprise Risk and Assurance Analyst' should have:
- A degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in risk management and assurance methodologies
- Proven internal audit and risk management experience, preferably with international businesses
- Experience conducting AML/CTF and ISO internal audits would be ideal
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of legal and professional services industry regulations
- Hard-working and a self-starter
