Our Client, East Riding Council, is seeking a Children's Area Manager to join their Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • To provide effective supervision and maintain management development needs of a number of teams in the service.
  • To produce service plans which are linked to the Children's and Young People's plan, monitor performance of the service and identify and achieve locally agreed targets.
  • To plan, manager and develop and full range of social care services for Children, young people and families in line with the Council's strategic aims and objectives.
  • To ensure that Children, young people and their families are fully consulted and actively involved in the development of services.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years' experience as Qualified Social Worker.
  • Must have experience working in a similar role.
