Sewell Wallis are working exclusively with a Logistics business on the outskirts of Rochdale who are currently recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to their Finance team
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a strong finance business partnering and management accounts background.
What will you be doing?
- Ensuring the timely and accurate production of the monthly management accounts.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Business partnering key stakeholders across the wider teams.
- Supporting commercial and strategic planning with detailed financial analysis.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Developing models for acquisition opportunities.
- Analysing revenue streams and business costs.
- Ensuring project budgets are accurate.
- Managing a small team.
What skills are we looking for?
- Qualified / Newly qualified Accountant with experience of working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong reporting and analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel.
- Ambitious and driven.
