Azure Data Engineer - Data Bricks/Lakes/Factory/Warehouse
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic financial company based in Bradford, renowned for their innovative approach to data management and analytics. They're at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive financial insights and business success.
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their growing team. This role requires expertise in Microsoft SQL, Azure, Data Bricks, Data Lakes, Data Factories and Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a passion for data engineering. The role is based in the offices twice a month.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows.
- Act as the lead in reviewing code and maintaining coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Design and implement data solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL, Python, Data Bricks, Data Lakes, and Data Warehousing.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
