Insight Executive Group are working with a global FM service provider to recruit an Electrical Engineer in Farnborough, Hampshire.
This is a permanent full time role with a starting salary of £40k.
The client is a corporate client HQ consisting of 3 main office buildings and a small number of satellite buildings inc. a vehicle workshop and two multi level car parks. The role sits within a team of 8 M&E trades and Handymen supported by an on-site management & admin team providing a wide range of facilities services to the client. PPM & Reactive works are predominantly transmitted via a CAFM system by a central helpdesk and received and administered via a hand held device. In close liaison with your Supervisor, you will form part of the on site team and be responsible for carrying out a wide range of commercial electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs to the various LV electrical systems on site.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- assisting the Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances
- carrying out minor surveys and inspections and simple report writing
- achieving contract SLA/KPI in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site.
- To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
The successful Electrical Engineer will be able to demonstrate:
- experience on 3 phase, 1 phase, Electrical installs/repair environment motor, pump some controls
- experience in an Electrical Installation / Repair environment
- competent LV Electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing
- a full and clean driving licence
Typical hours are 07.00 - 16.00hrsM-F (on call - 16.00 - 7.00hrsM-F)
