Calibration Technician

Calibration Technician. Our client, a leader in their field are recruiting for a Calibration Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

Calibration Technician duties include:

- Responsible to the Calibration Business Unit Manager shall ensure that Dimensional laboratory activities are carried out expediently, efficiently and safely at all times.
- Sign UKAS Certificates (if Applicable).
- Meet deadlines for customers work and assigned tasks.
- Assist with maintaining laboratory maintenance.
- Produce and maintain Laboratory procedures and uncertainty budgets.
- Use the preferred software in accordance with company procedures to ensure the correct processing of items through the Laboratory.
- Liaise with customers to understand and satisfy their requirements in a professional manner.
- Engage in laboratory progression.
- Maintain electronic filing system.

Calibration Technician requirements:
- Hands on calibration experience in at least one of the following fields:
- Force / Torque.
- Ability to review and adopt best practice and seek out continuous improvement.
- Able to train, coach and mentor other members of the team to support the laboratory.
- IT Literate - including Microsoft Office

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday permanent days - 40hrs per week.
