Job Role: Welder
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £16.00 - £17.00ph DOE
Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious metalwork company in Oldham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Welder on a 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Sheet metal MIG & TIG Welding - Fabricating thin plate (1-3mm)
- Reviewing technical / engineering drawings and sketches.
- Inspecting work
- Maintaining welding equipment and machines etc.
- Using various power tools.
- Adhering to welding company processes.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Excellent knowledge of MIG & TIG welding processes in sheet metal
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Happy with variation in their work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
