A well-established law practice in the heart of Bristol is looking to grow its family law team with an experienced practitioner. Founded in Bristol, this law firm has expanded to two offices, serving both business and individual clients throughout England and Wales.
Key Responsibilities
To be successful, you will demonstrate expertise in:
- Public and private children law
- Domestic violence cases
- Cohabitation issues
While not mandatory, knowledge with the following areas is advantageous:
- Ancillary finances
- Divorce proceedings
- Advocacy
The caseload includes a mix of privately funded and legal aid cases, so knowledge of legal aid is beneficial, although training will be provided.
Your Profile
We are seeking a solicitor who:
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Offers support to the head of the department
- May bring a client following, though we are a busy firm with a high level of work available

Upon successful completion of the probationary period:
- There is an option for remote work (3 days in office)
- Dedicated paralegal/support staff.
- Minimum of 10% of all billings above target paid annually.
