- They handle new projects from initial client brief to final handover.
- They conduct feasibility studies, surveys, and reports.
- They provide troubleshooting, energy audits and service coordination with on-site engineers.
The Role of the Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Fast-paced projects designing and overseeing progression, liaising with design teams to ensure adherence to designs.
- Heavy coordination involvement.
- Projects include retail and fast food sectors.
- Design and produce building services designs, including drainage, all piped services, mechanical ventilation and air conditioning.
- Create drawings using Revit.
- Work as part of a team as well as autonomously; must be self-motivated.
- Attend site meetings to liaise with the design team.
