Job Title: Trainee Legal Costs Draftsperson
Salary: Up to £30K DOE
Location: Gloucestershire, hybrid after probation.
Hours: Full Time.
I'm working closely with a regional firm top tier Law Firm. They are looking for a motivated individual who wants to further progress within their Legal Costs department. ACL training provided.
This is a highly ranked Legal 500 firm of solicitors. The vacancy is ideal for someone based in Gloucestershire who has experience as a Paralegal/Litigation Assistant or legal admin and is looking to take the next step up in your career. Full Training is provided and ACL qualification is supported.
Main Responsibilities
- General Adhoc admin
- Assisting fee earners in drafting and preparing budgets, statements, bills of costs.
- Liaise with 3rd parties regarding final fees, fee estimations and payments.
- Working in a team of Costs Lawyers and Draftspersons assisting on very high-value Commercial files.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in Legal Costs - at least a year drafting.
- Strong desire to work in Legal Costs and further progress.
- Excellent communicator
- Attention to detail
- Driven
- Experience managing or assisting on high value costs files.
