The Role

The Treasury Back Office Senior Manager role is a key role which will provide leadership and direction to the Treasury Back Office team, in addition to the wider EMEA Treasury team.

Treasury Back Office is a fast moving environment that ensures that all approved payments / transfers are processed correctly, and the team utilises a number of different systems and banking platforms, and oversees Direct Debit payments and commercial Bacs Bureaus.

The team has overall responsibility for processing payments well in excess of £100 billion annually, and you would be required to provide insights and updates on operational activity, whilst guaranteeing compliance with all regulations across several jurisdictions and driving continuous improvement through the use of technology.

This role will require you to deal with senior stakeholders, and take responsibility for all payment processes, allowing payments to be delivered on time. Leading the day-to-day Treasury Back Office function and supporting and developing the team, you will also support with the development of the payment strategy and lead and contribute on a range of projects.

You will also need to keep up to date with industry and regulatory changes to ensure compliance, and continuously review policies and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose.

The Person

To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record in treasury (particularly of Treasury Back Office) and knowledge of the regulatory landscape.

An understanding of payment types / methods, knowledge of the Financial Services industry and an awareness of regulations such as CASS are all highly desirable.
