General Foreman
Location – Surrey
Brief Job description -
- Assist in the smooth running of the project and various activities including
- Number of years of experience working in the capacity of general foreman
- Experience of working on Highways/Roads projects
- Ensuring gang(s) capabilities and resources are maintained
- Supervising construction issues and resolving with engineering teams
- Working to programme / schedules
- Liaising with senior managers and other subcontractors to gain access in line with programme requirements
- Managing materials and plant deliveries for programme and ‘just in time'
- Ensuring SHEA compliance
- Management reporting – allocation sheets, end of shift inspection reports etc.
The role requires high levels of managerial and supervisory skills and will suit General Foreman/Section Foreman /Roadworks Foreman with at least 5 years experience, to ensure all Client issues are satisfactorily resolved and the SHEA, works, housekeeping etc. are carried out to the required high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.
