Hyperloop Recruitment are working with an established software house in Liverpool who are looking for a Senior Ruby Engineer to join their growing team.
Our client are looking for an individual with a proven track record in software development to help lead on a range of Ruby on Rails projects, interacting with clients and stakeholders and help mentor more junior developers.
Working as part of a small but dedicated team of Software Engineers, the successful candidate will work in an Agile environment to deliver product-focused functionality in large-scale Ruby SaaS products whilst collaborating across cloud based architecture and services.
Technologies required:
- Strong experience in Ruby on Rails / Rails 7 / Ruby development or equivalent frameworks such as Django or Phoenix
- AWS
- CI/CD pipelines
- Software architecture
- Open to using alternative languages and frameworks (Java, Spring)
- Mentoring juniors
- Ability to communicate technical jargon to senior stakeholders
The role is paying up to £65,000 & is on a remote-first basis; our client would ideally like someone who can make occasional trips into the Liverpool office. To apply, click here!
