About the role

NFU Mutual are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced Personal Assistant to join our Customer Service division supporting our Head of Claims.

Your role will be to provide integral administrative, coordination and personal assistant support to a senior member of our Customer Service executive team. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with different colleagues and senior stakeholders outside of your immediate team.

In addition, you'll work as part of our administrative support team within our Customer Service department, assisting current members of the team to deliver effective and efficient service. The administrative support includes a wide range of activities as well as using your judgement to know when to prioritise and escalate communications to the wider leadership team, ensuring their time is used effectively.

This role offers up to 80% homeworking options as we understand how important a positive work-life balance is. The office days will be based in our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon.

About you

You're enthusiastic, willing to learn and open to new ideas. You bring an approachable style to building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with a positive, can-do attitude. Able to work effectively and efficiently both autonomously and as part of a team.

To join our team, you'll also have:

  • Strong administrative/PA/secretarial experience supporting senior management
  • Excellent organisational and diary management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient IT skills and use of Microsoft Office 365
  • Be able to work independently or as part of the team
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written
