FINANCE TEAM LEADER - 35-40Kpa - BASED IN KIDDERMINSTER

My Client is looking for a Accounts Team Leader to join our growing team. Do you have experience as a supervisor/manager within an account's team, are open to a new challenge by joining our growing team?

You will be working at our UK Head Office to support the accounts team, whist reporting to the UK Accounts Manager.

As the Accounts Team Leader you will be based from our head office in Kidderminster on a full-time basis.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Full reconciliation of; VAT, banking, Intercompany, Intrastat, Foreign invoicing, Petty Cash, Remittances and Company expenses/credit cards.
  • Overseeing, monitoring, mentoring, supporting, and assisting the accounts team.
  • Use Sage Line 50 and other in-house software.
  • VAT returns.
  • Completing of EC Sales.
  • Overseeing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control to ensure weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines are adhered to.
  • All day-to-day running of the accounts and support the Accounts Manager.
  • General support and administration duties.

As the Accounts Team Leader, you should have the following skills, qualifications, and competencies:

  • AAT Level 3 or above (or equivalent).
  • Experience in Sage Line 50 (preferred).
  • Experience of managing and supporting an accounts team, with a full working knowledge in Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Purchase Ledger.
  • Experience in Month-End procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise, work at a fast pace and multi-task.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail and good problem solving.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in supporting and upskilling the team.
