Customer Service Team Leader - Burton Upon Trent - £30,000 - £35,000 plus bonus

Chase and Holland are delighted to be working with a leading international business to recruit for a Customer Service Team Leader to join their team. In this role you will provide a successful balance between customer satisfaction, commercial awareness and optimising operations in line with the company strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has team leader experience within a customer service department. You will be joining a supportive friendly team with great progression opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Team Leader:

  • Maintaining a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes a customer service culture for our internal and external customers.
  • Managing team performance, motivate your team. Set challenging Goals and Objectives for your team. Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports. Ensure that the team works in line with regional and company objectives.
  • Managing appraisals, the Performance Review Process, Personal Development Plan's
  • Constantly looking for continuous improvement opportunities to further enhance the Customer Journey and experience
  • Ensuring that global sales orders and goods returns are processed onto NAV in-line with the department expectations and managed there-on to completion
  • Ensuring that both inbound and outbound phone calls are handled and executed within the agreed parameters
  • Working alongside the Operations & Continuous Improvement Managers to develop cross-functional processes to further progress and improve our Customer Service strategy
  • Resolving complex and escalated customer service queries to the highest level via telephone call, face to face and email

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Significant customer service experience
  • Management experience
  • Good IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Keen eye for detail and able to work with complete accuracy
  • Full driving license
