We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work for our client based in Peterborough. The position is a permanent role and works on a 2-week rotating shift pattern including days and nights.
Duties and responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
- Usage of computerised maintenance systems to track stock, job details and PPM.
- Liaise with Contractors and suppliers to ensure company engineering standards are achieved.
- Ensure company Health and safety standards are always met.
- Continuous Improvement and project works to further the business.
The Successful Candidate
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Logical mind set to balance department requirements.
- Great attention to detail and time management
- Strong IT skills
- ATEX knowledge (Preferable but not required)
