Responsibilities:

  • Manage various aspects of conveyancing, including first or second charge, lender-only or dual representation, and both individual and corporate mortgages.
  • Oversee conveyancing for repossession and receiver sale transactions.
  • Review legal titles and conveyance documentation thoroughly, reporting findings to clients.
  • Identify potential risks for clients and propose effective solutions or risk mitigation strategies whenever feasible.
  • Address general legal inquiries from clients and team members.
  • Prepare occasional legal documents as required.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with clients, agents, brokers, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' and borrowers' solicitors, internal departments, and other relevant parties.
  • Utilise case management systems daily for efficient workflow.
  • Assist with departmental reporting, billing, and general administrative tasks as necessary.

Person Specification:

  • Fully qualified solicitor.
  • Newly qualified welcome 0 PQE onwards
  • Proven track record in dealing with residential property law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
