Night Concierge - 6 month FTC to be extended every six months - Mayfair - £14 per hour
My client, a prestigious property developer specialising in luxury apartments within the West End, are seeking a highly motivated and confident Night Concierge to join their close-knit team in Mayfair.
The position is primarily customer focused providing a high level of service to high end clients.
This is 6 month fixed term contract which gets extended every six months.
Duties:
- Perform your duties and provide concierge services, in the prescribed manner, as instructed by the Building Manager or Head of Hospitality.
- Inspect, on a daily basis, all internal areas of the private residential building and report any defects, security or health and safety concerns to the Building Manager.
- Set an example for other staff members by being courteous and helpful to all guests in addition to members of the public, and contractors.
- Manage the reservations inbox and booking enquiries
- Receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents.
- Deal with all telephone enquiries and log messages.
- Ensure the development is well managed, safe, clean and a secure environment in which to live and work.
- Enter all relevant comments/details in the development log.
- Ensure that all incidents or accidents are logged correctly.
- Fully conversant with all emergency procedures and understand the layout of the building and the operation of all equipment
- Ensure that all fire doors are kept closed & fire escapes and exits clear at all times.
- Adopt and implement the procedures as directed by the Management.
- Assist with the annual fire and health and safety risk assessments.
- Supervise any keys which may be held, ensure that they are correctly logged in and out in accordance with agreed procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three to four years' experience as a concierge / receptionist / front of house within property or luxury hotel / hospitality
- Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous but not essential
- Well presented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during intense situations
- Pro-active and ability to work independently
Hours: Night shift pattern 7pm to 7am, 4 days on, 4 days off
Salary: £14 / hour (equivalent to circa £32,000 per annum)
