Our client, an established company in Reading is currently looking for a results-driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their team as the business continues to grow their portfolio.
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expanding their international market presence. Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to travel worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business goals
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences both domestically and internationally
- Travelling internationally to meet with potential clients and partners
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development/sales
- Previous background in microbiology is greatly advantageous
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
