We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher to join our team in Biggleswade. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, fostering critical thinking, and promoting understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Religious Studies to students of varying abilities.
  • Foster critical thinking, empathy, and understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives among students.
  • Prepare students for examinations and assessments, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and events, enhancing the learning experience beyond the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the Religious Studies curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Religious Studies or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
  • Proven ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
