Job Description
I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytical Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing analytical services using GC and Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on ongoing and new projects within the analytical labs
- Design and develop methodologies for a range of food and drink analyses using GC, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP
- Respond to client inquiries regarding testing within the group
- Ensure compliance with ISO17025 requirements and quality control procedures
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in analytical science
- Strong knowledge of food science and technology
- Understanding of GC and Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, or ICP techniques and their applications in the food industry
- Experience as a test signatory under an ISO17025 quality management system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
