Job Title: Legal Secretary (Private Client) - 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term (with potential to go permanent)
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded law firm in Uckfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal support professional looking for a new challenge on a fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent role.
**The Role:
As a Legal Secretary, you will provide essential support to a partner on a 1-1 basis. Whilst experience in Private Client law is desirable, it is not essential. However, previous experience in a legal support role is a requirement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing client correspondence, emails, and telephone calls
- Diary management and scheduling appointments
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintaining and updating files
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other third parties
- Filing and administrative support as required
**Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Private Client law is advantageous but not essential
