Job Title: School Catering Assistant.

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious meals to students, ensuring they have the fuel they need to excel academically. This is a temporary ongoing position with a start date of September 2nd, 2024.
- Current Enhanced DBS is required for this role
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Location - M8
Responsibilities:
As a School Catering Assistant, you will:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to students, ensuring they receive a well-balanced diet
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping ingredients and assembling meals
- Set up and restock food stations
- Interact with students, providing excellent customer service and addressing their dietary needs
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Must have a valid Enhanced DBS
- A passion for working with children and ensuring they receive nutritious meals
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and other team members
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
