Marketing Manager

The core purpose of the Marketing Manager role is to drive measurable growth and retention, through targeted, strategic, and integrated marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner and collaborate with all complex stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic communications plan to drive retention and sales growth from the existing client base.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to inform future decision making and improve effectiveness of campaigns
  • Manage and co-ordinate a multi-channel plan that has a consistent brand message
  • Extract key qualitative and quantitative insights from the existing database to analyse trends and areas of opportunity
  • Alongside the brand, work with the team to develop communication plans for the growth of Safe to Trade via the existing base.
  • Working collaboratively with the Design Team to drive excellence across all communication deliverables
  • Forecasting of sales growth and reporting against forecast.
  • Monitor and analyse retention rates of current client base and gather actionable feedback
  • Ensure accurate controls of all budgeting and analyse ROI for future areas of investment
  • Be a confident brand ambassador at outreach and public events

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

  • To own and implement a strategic, multi-channel communications plan focussed on growth of new and existing customers
  • Ensuring alignment of all marketing activity with the go-to-market strategy
  • Balancing consistent and differentiating brand marketing with lead generation
  • Devising and implementing targeted and multi-channel campaigns
  • Optimising and amplifying PR to engage audiences with authentic content
  • Be responsible for event planning and execution
  • Lead on CRM, optimising targeting, messaging, reporting and insight capture
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform future planning
  • As a senior team member, support in the development of the wider team
  • Line management responsibilities
  • Agency management
  • Collaborating with the Design Team to ensure excellence across all deliverables
  • Budgetary responsibilities, campaign analysis and demonstratable ROI.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience for a leading purpose led organisation
  • Experienced and technically skilled in PR, CRM, social media and digital
  • Specialist and passionate around events marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborative, proactive and passionate about building brands
  • Creative and analytical mind, interpreting strategic plans into creative briefs.
  • Ability to critically appraise visuals and messaging
  • Media planning
