CAD Technician

My contractor client is looking to grow their team and are therefore keen to bring on a CAD Technician to join a growing team in Manchester. This is to work with a fit-out contractor on exciting, fast-paced projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in detailing and a strong understanding of how designs come together to be part of a large, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure that designs integrate seamlessly with overall project goals.
  • Work on fit-out projects, with an emphasis on CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, delivering projects to tight deadlines.
  • Participate in project meetings, offering insights and expertise to facilitate the timely completion of projects.
  • Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Proven detailing experience, with a solid understanding of design processes and project execution.
  • Experience working on fast-paced projects, particularly in fit-out or similar environments.
  • Ideally, experience with CAT A and CAT B fit-outs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with a large project team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
