THE ROLE:
It is an exciting hands-on role working directly with the Finance Director. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a similar role and who wishes to gain more experience.
- Bookkeeping on Quickbooks in multicurrency
- Run monthly payroll
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Identify opportunities to simplify/improve accounts processes and internal controls
- Answer and investigate any accounting related queries
- Verifying and reconciling contractors tables with billing information
- Streamline processes to assist with revenue recognition and cost accruals
- Prepare and submit HMRC returns (VAT & EC Sales List)
- Own AP process; preparing cashflow report and payment file on weekly basis
- Support Month-end reports and various other management reports
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA part qualified or studying towards their qualification.
- Has experience in a similar role and demonstrated efficient, accurate and timely accounting.
- Previous payroll preparation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills to work with colleagues at all levels within the business.
- Self-starter with an eye for details and willingness to go above and beyond their job role.
- Ability to work under pressure in a commercial environment to tight deadlines.
- Quickbooks experience would be an advantage.
- Financial modelling experience and knowledge.
- Experience working in a dynamic/commercial environment.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
